The Old Dubbo Gaol is definitely worth seeing, a great historic landmark in Dubbo, and well presented. They have great little animated displays. It gives a good feel for life in Dubbo in the early 1900’s for a criminal.It’s been recently renovated to make it even better.
There’s an animated character out the front that will give you a good idea of what it’s like inside.
It’s not cheap, maybe $30 for a family, but worth it if you plan on spending a good few hours looking around. Make sure you buy a t-shirt on the way out!
