It’s time to survey you, the dubbo.org coffee drinkers out there to see who you think makes the best coffee in Dubbo. This poll is purely about the coffee. We don’t care about the atmosphere, we don’t care about the mannerisms of the person who serves you or how comfortable the chairs are… just the coffee!
Vote now…
Who makes Dubbo's best coffee?

If you’re after coffee, there’s plenty of places to try.
For traditional style coffee shops, there’s Mr Bean near the Amaroo Hotel. Cafe 33 in Talbragar St where they roast their own coffee, with some lounge chairs up the back. The Grapevine is pretty good with good desserts, in Brisbane Street opposite the Police Station. Also The Coffee Bean on the north end main street near Riverdale and The Coffee Exchange around the south/middle of the main street are both good.
In terms of more commercial places, I personally think Muffin Break in Centro has the best coffee anywhere in Dubbo, but chech out the coffee survey for other views! For those who like Gloria Jeans coffee, it’s also in centro mall, South end of Macquarie Street.

There’s a Muffin break in Dubbo’s Centro Mall on the South End of Macquarie Street. I go there quite regularly for a muffin and coffee. Coffee is pretty good. Same with Muffins. It’s in a busy spot - I like feel of people walking past from Coles as I read the free local Newspaper they provide.

In a nursery, on Wheelers lane, just north of the railway line.
It’s all about atmosphere. Not the best coffee, but wonderfully relaxing sitting in a garden atmosphere.

A warm, arty coffee shop situated inside a nursery. I feel relaxed the moment I walk in.

A treat for the kids.
Our boys’ favorite family coffee shop is the Village Hot Bake, just over the railway line on Darling Street. It has an upstairs eating area, where you can look down on everyone, an outdoor eating area, a little animated puppet who rolls out bread all day, and a wide selection of pies, pastries, sandwiches and coffee. Standard bakery kind of food - sugar and coloring and flavour enhancer and sends our kids up the wall, but tastes good. I wouldn’t’ go here for the coffee, but we go here regularly because the kids love it so much. Great atmosphere and service.
