Cascades motor inn has large comfortable rooms, an award winning restaurant, and 4 conference rooms that can seat 10 to 200. I’ve never stayed there, but I’ve been there for a real-estate auction and for dinner, and it’s very nice.

If you are on a budget, but still after a very neat, well kept place to stay in Dubbo, the Country Leisure Inn would be my choice. It’s been recently renovated and painted.
It’s easy to find, it’s the only Motel on the North Side of Cobra Street.

Some visitors to Dubbo made the following comments about Douglas House:
“a 2 bedroom house in Dubbo that was cool comfortable and cheap!! A great renovated place which the kids ran around in great delight.”
Sounds like a great place to stay. You can find out more here:

There are two really nice caravan parks in Dubbo, NSW. This is one of them - it’s probably the pick of caravan parks, right near the Zoo, on the main road - and that is in my opinion it’s only drawback - it’s on the main road. Unlike the Dubbo City Park, this one has a boomgate, and it slightly more upmarket.
Phone number is 02 6884 8341
Head out Whylandra Street towards the Zoo and you’ll find it on the left.

There are two Caravan Parks that we’d stay in if we came to Dubbo. This is one of them - Dubbo City Caravan Park. It’s next to the river, nice quiet feel. Colorful kids play equipment (though not under cover). Last time I checked it was $20 for a powered site, plus $4 per child. Ph no is 02 6882 4820. It’s on the West Side of the Macquarie River between the two main bridges.
