jedda Jedda Boomerangs

Entry is free. A fantastic hands-on Kids playground – lots of fun equipment.
Learn how to throw a boomerang or play a didgeridoo. Ring before you go to make sure someone is around, they are more oriented to manufacturing than tourism, but worth a visit.

4.3km on the Minore Road, (Minore Road is a right turn off the highway to Parkes, just before the golf course.)

I would have to say that it was the best thing for my family. we did all of the sights and thought we would fill in a bit of time at the boomerang place. well it turned out to be a couple of hours and my daughters aged 8 and 12 had a great time. they learnt how boomerangs where made how to tell a fake and then the best they decorated and burnt it themselves and than the lovely man took the time to teach them how to throw it properly with all the safety gear and a lesson as to why. All of this for $16.00 and 2 boomerangs to bring home cant beat this for fun educational and cheap. For all ages. we cant’ wait to return.

  2. well all i can say is that my family and i spent 60 minutes twiddling our thunbs waiting hoping that someone would show up when we where there earlier in the year

Yes there are often times when it’s unattended!

That’s why it says “Ring before you go to make sure someone is around, they are more oriented to manufacturing than tourism, but worth a visit.”

  8. I’m trying to get a hold of Boyd that owned Jedda Boomerangs a while ago. I live in the USA and my husband got to know him in 2002 and wanted to see how he’s doing. If you have any contact information will you please let me know. Thank You!

Tried to visit on the 6th June 2010. Could not find it and local kid on the Minore road told us it had closed. The kids were really looking forward to it.

  10. That would be disappointing – it doesn’t surprise me though! (That’s what I meant by the ‘ring before you go’ comment in the post – genuine boomerangs but not the most reliable operators.) I’ll check it out.
