A cheap but clean and neat place to stay is the Formula One, $69 last time I checked, plenty of rooms available.

A real nice motel is the Abel Tasman, near the Zoo, $125 per Queen room.

A popular caravan park is the Big 4 Caravan Park – very good for families has a big jumping pillow and lovely bush surroundings. $145 per night for ensuite cabin.
