This Sunday: Free family concert with a fun animal theme

Where: Visitor Information Centre, Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Obley Rd Dubbo.

Come along to a fun-filled family concert featuring animal-themed music performed by local choirs and bands. The program includes well known tunes like Talk to the Animals, Theme from Jurassic Park, Carnival of the Animals, as well as the premiere performance of a specially commissioned song about the Zoo by renowned composer Paul Jarman, special guest artist for this event. Performers include Dubbo District Concert Band, Macquarie Conservatorium’s Harmony Singers, Dubbo College Combined Band, and a youth choir of students from schools in and around Dubbo.
Enjoy an entertaining program of music that will appeal to kids and adults alike, under the trees near the Zoo’s Visitor Information Centre. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, alternatively bring your own picnic. Please note: No BYO alcohol.
